After a week without wind at the Kitesurf Tour Europe we went straight to Sankt Peter-Ording for the PKRA Worldtour. We had four great days with wind, perfect to get used to conditions we would get during the competition.
The event in SPO is the biggest PKRA event of the year and the level was unbelievable high. There where 81 guys and 20 girls in the freestyle fighting for only a few spots in the main event. I had a really good heat in the trials and moved straight into the mainevent, I couldn’t be more happy.
Luckily we had enough wind to finish the single and double elimination and I ended up 7th. I’m really happy with this result at my first Worldcup. It was a great experience and hopefully I can do more stops next year!
Unfortunately no wind at the second stop of the Kitesurf Tour Europe. It were 6 sunny days at Sylt though.
Monday morning we drove to Sankt Peter-Ording for the Worldcup and we had wind every single day!! It was really nice to be on the water after a week of no wind. Tomorrow registration and saturday is the first day of the competition! The PKRA takes 9 days so we have enough chance for good wind.
